Greetings readers! My name is Kenna and I am a teacher in a small East Texas town. I have taught middle school science for 16 years, all in the same school district. My how time flies!
Six years ago I was given the opportunity to travel to Malta, Italy and France through People to People. Over the past five years I have traveled to those three countries plus: Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland and Australia. Through those travels I have learned so much; and have been able to see the students I travel with grow and become more independent. Did I mention I travel with junior high students? Crazy I know, but I LOVE it!
I am very excited to travel to Australia again this year. On June 30, we will be headed on our 20 day Australian Adventure!! Our East Texas group of 25 will be teamed with 16 students from Michigan. I will try my best to keep up with my blog and post pictures as well.
